Freedom Bulletin 318
In this bulletin we discuss Psyllium Husk - Super Food. . .
Psyllium husks originate from the seeds of the plantago ovation plant.
The husk is the outer seed coat separated by milling, it contains high levels of soluble fibre that swells into a gel when mixed with water.
Its health benefits are immense and have been used for thousands of years.
When hydrated, psyllium forms a dense gel that slows down digestion, reducing blood sugar levels and insulin spikes (a precursor to all metabolic diseases).
