We are not alone! Our body hosts trillions of microorganisms called the microbiome. These are made up of bacteria, viruses and fungi. 
They live on our skin, in our nasal passage, lungs and gut (the gut is a sealed tube that runs from our mouth to the anus).

Humans have evolved to live with these microbes for millions of years. It’s a mutually beneficial relationship where we both need each other to survive....
